Holy. Crap. And here I am proud I rattlecanned over a few rough spots of paint.....
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
Your pride is fine Ken, I got a kick out of painting my stack and cleaning the windshields!kendelrio said:Holy. Crap. And here I am proud I rattlecanned over a few rough spots of paint.....
Back to an old thread, Backup lights required in Ca if non-historic registration, how did you do this one?clinto said:Good grief!!!!
How does the backup light switch on the shifter work? I think that's a great idea.
There is a rod (I'm sure it has a fancy name) on the top rear portion of the transmission, which moves a fraction of an inch towards the rear when the shifter is placed in reverse...I simply mounted a microswitch in its path to activate the back-up light.yellobronc said:.....

Plenty....Any pictures of the truck? Specifically the front aux lighting and wiring??
Here is one, let me know if you want more details, got plenty of pictures, just not on hand....Bjorn - do you have a fotos from the back with the pipeline bed and the Hiab in the 'stowed' position ? Very nice setup and I plan to use your list as a master list of things to change - very helpful !
You have to include BFR's deuce now, he has a higher capacity HIAB with a slightly shortened pipeline bed too. Thanks Cranetruck. No need to make a special effort but if in the future you run across any more shots from the rear where there isn't anything on the bed, maybe you could put some here. I think your truck and Miltruckman's with the crane also, are the two more interesting and useful rigs I have seen here.
