Looking for part
Cat 298-1308 and a Condenser. I would consider and MRAP 3 fan unit to mount to the back of the truck

have to tried your local cat folks? mine have been very helpful in the past.

Yes the local truck shops that are cat parts dealers said they cant get parts for that engine or that part number

That would be great, getting no where in my area and online cat parts will not even pull up the number. I am usually better at finding parts but this one is a mystery

Alright, off the phone with Carter CAT out of Lynchburg. They've always been good to me in the past so I keep going back to them.

This time... they CAN get the part, new for ~$375. With a 2 month lead time. I explained to Peggy what I was trying to do and she offered to explore the used market. I suggested she wait to hear from you directly before making that effort.

I'll keep my eye out in the meanwhile.

Ok I have the Pulley on its way, its 55 days out but at least it has been located. Shout out to Arkansas Valley Diesel Service in Colorado. Now just for finding a Condenser.
