Saw these in Story City, IA. a few days ago while at work. Spoke with a few of the soldiers of the Red Bull Division training near Fort Dodge, they don't really like the LMTV much, but love the HEMMT! According to one of the gentlemen I spoke with, the HEMMT wrecker does about 70MPH. The LMTV being towed sprung a leak, there was a pan under the engine with coolant in it, they were disconnecting the rear driveshaft while I was there for the tow. Do the Deuces need the driveshafts disconnected while towing?

If its an manual transmission you can put the transfer case in neutral. Of course the safest and most correct would be removing but Ive towed them before with the T case in neutral and seems to work fine.

If you want everything not spinning, but the tires, pull the rear axles shafts, and put a cover on them. Only thing spinning is the wheel bearings.
