Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
Yes, I printed out what I could find before my gensets arrived on the truck. I too use a tablet for quick reference but it will be useless in a power outage when I have power but the local internet is down. Those are awesome, quite a jackpot indeed. Leads me to a question (that's probably been asked/answered before). Are the rest of you printing your manuals to keep in your shops, vehicles or both? I love the idea of printed material but I currently use a tablet with pdfs so I have all my manuals in one place. I also keep a laptop in the shop that I'm ok getting grease on if I have to search something up.
I received a huge care package from an anonymous donor. I have a LOT of good stuff to go through. The circuit drawings are readable!! They are much better than the scans we have access to now. I will post more once I've given them a look over.

Excellent advice ^^^^^^^^^^^. I agree 100%Great score! Put them in order. Then look at them to see if they have the most current date, and change.
Your going to need binders for them. The wire used to hold the books together works, but you wind up bending the pages, and it's impossible to keep it open, and work at the same time. If you use wire ties or any other improvisation, you will quickly begin to loose pages. I had a room full of hundreds of TM's. Anything other then binders, just dosnt work. You can use hole reinforcements, but what a lot of work! TM' you use a lot, need plastic page covers. That drastically increases the size of a the book.
I would warn you to NOT take them out of the plastic, until you need Ord want to put them in binders. When a stack of loose TM's falls over, your going to be driven to drink. I love puzzles, but 2-3 mixed up TM's, well, drive you to drink. For Schmatices you use all the time, copy them, keep the original in plastic, and use the copys. The paper used for TM's is first class. The covers make excellent gasket material.
