I found an M1009 close to me for sale. Supposed to be all original except for a replaced alternator. Looks like rust in the inner fenders and possibly some in the rockers, and has 80k on it. What would an average price be for it if it starts, runs and drives?

I got mine 64k miles, running ,driving, rusty for 1500,but have invested 2500 in it to be dependable, and after 20k miles looking at another 1000 to get her right.

What would it take to get it dependable typically. This is would be my first MV. I have done a lot of reading here and would start off with the doghead mod, 12v glow plug bypass, change the glow plugs, change belts and fluids, and probably new tires.
