according to michigans CDL guide, If it's for private use (no commercial at all) , and owned by yourself you don't need a CDl in michigan. It's listed on the exceptions page in the CDL literature

I talked to a cop friend that is motor carrie in Michigan and he told me I am fine just don't use for business use and i'll be ok..

I can't sleep that great now till I get it.. I sold a 2007 gmc duramax since I need some room..
