MEP-8xx exhaust gasket

Howdy,
I am looking for a MEP-803a exhaust gasket. The one between the exhaust manifold and the muffler. I am striking out finding one.

I finally found a kit of 5 exhaust manifold gaskets. Now that part is done, I just need this gasket.

I used one from a f-134 jeep engine. The screw holes are just a tiny bit off, but close enough to work.

I am surprised finding a stupid little gasket is so tough out there.

You could really get away with making your own from the fibrous fel-pro material. It's cheap on Amazon.
Unless you're running it indoors, you might even be able to ignore a gasket altogether.

The exhaust muffler gasket does exist.

Howdy,
The exhaust gasket fits both the MEP-802A and the MEP-803A. The units use the same engine, except one is 2 cylinders, and the other is 4 cylinders.

I am glad I bought extra's when I found these gaskets.

I have been able to help out a few folks putting there units back together.

Do you still have a muffler gasket? I removed the muffler to work on the fuel lines and managed to lose mine.

This is one of the easier gaskets to make. Just get a sheet of graphite gasket material and cut one out. You can do it in like 5 minutes with a set of cheap chisels.
