Usually the crappy lever switch under the dash. Of course you have the light switch in "stop light" position and both bulbs check good.

Put fluid in the master cylinder.

bulbs good and replaced switch on power to three way pig tail bulb socket ohms out good pulling out switch now to check it can feel a little click in it when I move it
