All, I acquired an unexpected project vehicle that is a m998 with a 6.0 and 4l80 swap in it. I'm curious what others have done for a lower radiator hose from the water pump to the radiator. I've got a few hoses that are questionable and leaking and just thinking there has to be a better way.

All, please see the photos of the Humvee lower radiator hose and give me some input. I just feel like a 90 elbow is going to cause issues…. I think finding a rotating thermostat cover and getting a different hose would be best and maybe also modifying the lower radiator tube.. Just curious if anyone has any first hand experience.

I would use a swivel neck then modify the factory lower coolant pipe.

Here’s a pic of my setup for an LT engine. I did away with worm style clamps and switched to tension clamps for all my coolant lines.
