2002 lssv

A few Pictures of my truck. It's a 2002 LSSV 2500HD, Crew Cab, 4X4, 6.6L Duramax Turbo Diesel with Allison Transmissionwith 33k miles on the clock when i purchased it. I think it is also the last year of the Duramaxes that did not have smog equipment on it. Also it was equipped with the front and rear Warn multi-mount winch setup. If anyone can look at the build options and tell me what goodies it came with I'd appreciate it! Sadly, I am considering parting with it as I have too many pickups. We will see!

I think James (M1075) is the only one left.
I have a 2005 LSSV, purchased from 63foxtrot and also formerly owned by the late DJfreema. RIP sir. Here are some pictures taken in the last year or so that I have owned it. I removed the troop seats, added HMMWV wheels with 33" tires, and added nFab 6-gun step rails. I would like to do a few more mods as time and $$$ allow.

This is my favorite MV. It is a pleasure to drive and is very useful. It is the only one I have ever owned with AIR CONDITIONING, FM radio, and latch system for the kids' car seats. :D

All the duramax trucks have a 14 bolt rear and independent front. Also all have a G80 rear end. The most common gear ratio is the 3.73 (rpo code gt5) or 4.10 ( rpo code gt4 I believe). All the Alison transmissions up until 06 were 5 speeds. The emissions weren't in place until 07-08. The LB7 has Internal Injectors that like to leak. When the LLY came out, it had external injectors and a VGT turbo. As I ha en discussed in other threads, the LLY had heat issues. The LBZ is the go duramax engine when it comes to power. Last year of no emissions and most of the other issues sorted out.

If there is enough interest I'll post power modifications for each engine that are worth while/most bang for your buck.
