lubing a ring mount

I have an m35a3 with a ring mount, it will swivel but it is very stiff. what is the best way or the correct way to lube the ring mount?

We removed the dust cover and used pressure cleaning to eliminate the dust and crud. Then we sprayed white lithium grease into the bearings, turned the mount round and round until it freed up. I have not checked it in some time so I do not k now how often it needs greasing. Ours sits outside all the time.
