Do you know if it runs? By the looks of it , it looks like it has been sitting there for quite a while. Looks like it could use some work but thats where the fun comes from is fixing them up. Thats a cool truck, good luck on your purchase and getting it going.

The M139 designation is for a chassis truck. M328 is the bridge truck designation. The M139 chassis was used as the basis for the bridging truck as well as the missile launcher. Some (if not all) of the Honest John trucks had 10.26 axle gearing. Super cool looking. The M328 is probably the only 5 ton I would ever consider owning again. They just look super tough.

This one would make a super cool, long wheelbase tractor.

Not sure on the old gasser, but the newer M821 was 12 (no payload) 17 (cross country payload) and 22 ( highway payload)
