M1008 bumper on a M1009??

i have seen it but dont know if it was a direct fit. I dont se why it would not be, only thing that comes to mind is that your shackle mounting bars would be to short. I had a custom bumper for my 09 done and had to get an extra set of bars and cut and weld to make them long enough

I put one on my '87 Suburban which will be painted in MV color soon. Minor alterations done on the brackets. Application on the M1009 may be similar.
You stole my Suburban, LOL

I will be putting a M1008 bumper on my white 90 Suburban here soon. What was the modifications needed to make it fit? was it just some bending or dripping holes?

Some minor trimming of the bumper brackets, the alignment of two bracket to chassis hole, and the drilling of a third hole for installation strength. No major issues. Of course I wouldn't my subby to come out half-baked so.... :-D
