M1008 Light Bar

I have a m1008 and want to make a light bar. If anyone has any ideas, pictures, blue prints, or designs all will be appreciated.

Does you truck have a flat bed if so you could do something like this. I just drilled through the 2x4 rectangle tubing at the top of the head ache rack and bolted a piece of 2x2 angle to it and just mounted my lights on it easy squeezey.

What do you mean by "light bar"? Something like what's at the Amazon links above? A place to mount lights?

Or the kind of thing that produces flashing lights, like this:

It has worked great for me and been on the truck for ~18 months.

BTW - shop around and you can find them cheaper then Carr's site.

I made a light bar that is mounted to one side of the bed. It slides into the stake pocket and fastened with 2 bolts. I made it so it doesn't sit higher than the cab roof and doesn't catch on any trees or branches. Works well for my needs.
