Can't seem to locate a transmission line for my M1008. Local Napa has searched hi and low, but says it is unavailable. Internet searches have come up empty handed also.
From TM 9-2320-289-20P pages142-143
Transmission Oil Cooler Line, part #14045628, PIPE ASM-TRNS Oil C (80.64" LG), make from tube, P/N 1324714

Could this line be made with some kind of hose? We can buy the proper hose fittings for each end

Any help would be appreciated!

Just pick up some brake line and a cheap tube bending pliers and make it yourself. I believe it is 5/16" line, someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Even the fittings will fit the trans and radiator. Its an easy job, trust me.

Stay away from rubber hose if you can. That's only a temporary fix for transmission lines.

One minute Googling the GM part number tells me it 5/16 od steel tube. AKA brake line, cut from a roll.
