M1009 6.2L Banks Turbo Upgrade

Many thanks to Steelsoldiers members Richingalveston and Camkillers for making this rare opportunity of selling me an almost full 6.2L banks turbo kit!

I decided to run with a banks kit because I feel much safer with the lower boost and reliability of the kit. Also there is much less fabrication needed to make this work. For my needs I think it will work well to get that much needed power to get up the hills on the way to the trailheads.

1/2 of the kit was bought from Richingalveston at the total cost of $475.

The other half of the kit from Camkillers was bought for $510. Included with this kit he added a new set of short injectors and an Hx35w turbo which I will be using down the road with my 6.5/6.2 hybrid build.

My apologies good sir! Simple mistake easily corrected! I am getting old and had too many parties in my 20’s lol!

Got all the banks parts in the mail and on the table. The HX35W is sooooo much bigger then the banks turbo. I am afraid to touch it because it would blow my hand off like it would with the heads lol!

Still need the mechanical pump plate with the bung for the Banks turbo oil drain pipe. Hopefully soon.

Any small block Chevy block off plate will do just drill and tap it before you install it.

Nice! I've been waiting to get an hx35w on my m1009 for a while now and every time I think I can park it long enough to do it, something comes up where I need the ol' girl.
