The pioneer trailer support group is really making me second guess getting rid of mine. With that said I have my mind occupied with this new CUCV.

I have one, I may use it as my coffin.

Before I got my TFK I used one as a chuck wagon, a field range with the hood/top off will slide right in where the gen set should.

That is were my fridge is. I still need to remove all the brackets and angle iron that is in the way of stowing camping gear. I had limited time to load it so just the fridge found it's proper place. Eric, it is big enough for you Amy and the dog! I don't know about a tent on the roof, the doors open up higher than roof. I do think solar panels will fit up there. Juice to keep the fridge cold. It has a three phase compressor going by the schematic. It works on 120ac @1 amp, 12vdc @ 5.5 amp, 24vdc @ 2.75 amp. Should be able to run it with solar. 65 quarts, plenty of food and no ice to fool with.uploadfromtaptalk1396045779855.jpg

Well we made it home. The 1009 is unloaded but the trailer remains packed and locked. The wife could not find her keys when we were loaded at the campsite and ready to pull out. I said well we have them somewhere cause the campsite was empty. Yeah I found them, rolled up in the center of the tent!
We had some fun on the way home, went across the Fort Gates ferry. It has crossed the St. Johns river just south of Welaka Florida since the mid 1800's. It takes 10 minutes to cross if he is on your side. We just missed him and he brought back some bikers. It cost $10 for the truck and $5 for the trailer. From that spot on the river it is a 48 mile ride up though Palatka to get to the other side of the river.
Saw some five tons on 19 just north of Eustis.uploadfromtaptalk1396226194146.jpguploadfromtaptalk1396226223035.jpguploadfromtaptalk1396226251307.jpguploadfromtaptalk1396226279079.jpguploadfromtaptalk1396226318917.jpguploadfromtaptalk1396226356481.jpguploadfromtaptalk1396226381223.jpguploadfromtaptalk1396226432969.jpguploadfromtaptalk1396226457050.jpguploadfromtaptalk1396226506466.jpg
