M1009 Batteries Dead

My M1009 finally let me down. The batteries seem to be dead. My gauge in the truck was working and now shows no charge. I charged them up and the front battery went from 13 amps to 8 amps without turning over. I'm guessing the batteries need to be replaced since they are the original ones I got with the truck a few years ago from GL. Can anyone recommend a good commercial grade battery as replacements? The alternator seems to be putting out when it is running (both ALT 1 and 2). Thanks

Optima's or go with group size 31 batts!!! The 6tml are good but way to expensive!!!

I put two 34 series red top optimas in my M1009, they work wonderfully
