M1009 CUCV (Blazer) restoration questions

I just won a 1009 out of GSA pretty cheap.

It will have some issues starting, I am certain. I see two connectors on the wiring harness disconnected along with a circuit board in a plastic housing with some capacitors and other components abandoned on the floor of the cab.

Any idea what I'm looking at here?






Haven't recovered it yet. Those are just pics from when I previewed it.

Any idea what I've gotten myself into? Couldn't find that part number on the plastic box anywhere.

I do not remember what that is, but it is not the Glow Plug controller card as that is a much larger one near the e-brake. I am sure someone will beat me to it while I look it up, but I replied so I would also know when that happens.

Low coolant module or tach buffer would be my guess

The flat connector looks like it is off the steering column. Turnsignal switch maybe. The small white connector is more that likely the kickdown on the throttle pedal.

Congrats on the 1009! Guess we should have spent some more time looking at it but you'll have plenty of time now.

Thanks. It went cheaper than I thought it might and the potential electrical issues doesn't particularly bother me.

Mostly I want to get it home and check it over to see if the engine will at least run. I've certainly got alot of spare transmissions for it...
