m1009 gen lights

hey all i got a m1009 a few weeks ago when i gto it i put new batterys in it right away cause it needed them bad. everything was working grate. now last week my starter went out and ever sence then my GEN 2 light wont go off. any ides would be grate thanks Ryan

Something in the alternator popped... have it checked out by a good automotive electrical place that rebuilds starters and alternators. Probably just needs the diodes replaced or something simple.

Are you getting 14V at the rear battery with the engine running?

needs the diodes
mine did the same thing for a week, so I had it repaired wall lah!
