nice set-up, I use too flat tow my jeep (51' M38). I got tired of worrying about breaking something after some hard wheeling, and ohh yea a new set of swappers. so I bought a trailer.

It must be rev'd pretty tight at 70. Does it pull the Siskiyous? I would like to put a set of those axles under my M1009, but I'm afraid of the mileage and high revs.

I think the rev's are not high. If I did the math right the gearing is below 410's. I have been running it like this for over 5 years with those road speeds. NOTHING has ever gone wrong with the truck.
