HI guys,
When I bought my M1009 it was sans rear window glass. The regulator was there but the sash, setting rubber, glass, and cam channels were all gone. I've managed to accumulate all the necessary parts and I'm in the process of installing everything, which is going well, except for one major thing.
My sash doesn't hold the glass, even with the setting rubber installed correctly. The window rolls up well but, when I roll it down, it separates from the sash. What the heck is supposed to hold the glass in the sash?
PS The glass is from a local guy and the parts are from LMC.
(I did read the TM and I read past posts (I'm on page 237 of the CUCV forum posts). I found a post with various ideas to glue, pinch, and hammer the sash but I don't know if I like that.)
