Decided to try and fix the leaking transfer case today and I found a surprise in the process. The extension housing has a piece broken off and it has a crack too!! They are both where the two bolts go in at the top. 
Wonder if it broke when the u-joints on the rear driveshaft failed???
I thought it just needed to be resealed, so I was obivously disappointed to see this. So, if you've got a good complete NP208 extension housing you want sell - let me know!!
