Does anyone have one of these kits as seen in picture? If so, how nice is it?

Anyone got other ideas on how to convert a k5 m1009 to a truck cab without replacing the body?

I am looking for winter ideas to heat cab better and a quick replacement that is lighter weight then the fiberglass shell.

My 4th soft top is about toast… it can only handle sooooo much gorilla tape…

I saw the top half on craigslist about five years ago. I didn't buy it because it was expensive, but have been looking for a complete set ever since.

It is fairly easy. Check out this thread. https://www.steelsoldiers.com/threa...-survey.137671/page-8#lg=post-1769561&slide=3
And the best part is you can return it to an M1009 again just like I did. The parts are easy to come by. The front bed wall can be cut and fit perfect. Good Luck. If you were closer I would supply the parts. Be quick I am in a scrapping frenzy at the moment. the time has come to see the light a the end of the tunnel and dive into less labor intense projects that are permanent additions to my estate. Vehicles aren't doing it anymore.
