Has anyone ever found an aftermarket source for weld in repair panels for the problem areas at the bottom corners of the windshield? I'm trying to keep my fabrication time to a minimum. Maybe a contact for someone who might have a donor cab to cut it from? I haven't pulled the windshield yet, but I'm guessing its pretty bad under the seal.

All of the squarebody trucks in general I’ve ever worked on that had rust under the windshield rubber in the channel, was in the corners near two little drain like holes that are there. I’ve had to make the patch panel for the ones I’ve fixed. Are you getting a lot of water in the cab? Another problem child with these body trucks is stuff getting thru the cowl vent, and rusting the cowl out. I’d make sure to check that also while I was at it.

Easy to fix. get the glass out and clean the area. Cut patches from a hood or door anything same vintage. and weld and tap them into place. An actual pinch weld repair patch don't exist that I am aware of. I fixed a few pinch welds. But fairly easy with a welder and clean and shape as you go. Good Luck.
