Wrong one I believe.
The M101A2 brake lever has a pulley attached for the cable.
This one does not have it.

Typical Saturn Surplus..........Sky high shipping
$13 is around the cost of a medium flat rate box. Eastern wants $230 + shipping for the brake lever.

This was taken directly from the M101 series trailer TM.
Both of my M101A2 trailers use this exact style lever.

Some levers on eBay are close, but not exact.

Same handles that are on my M116A3 generator trailer that has a manufacturing date of March 2012. My trailer was manufactured by Phoenix, but these guys made the M116A3, too: http://uttwi.com/m116a3.htm - they have a parts page but no brake handle listed. Using Tinstar's NSN in PartTarget http://www.parttarget.com/5340-00-936-5284_5340009365284_01-077500.html the manufacturer & part number is Orscheln 3100-C36G-180Y. A couple other part numbers were listed. Orscheln is still active - https://orschelnproducts.com/about-orscheln/ .

Madison Power is a distributor of Orscheln brake handles: https://madisonpowersystems.com/index.php/parking-brakes/parking-brake-levers . but I did not see the correct brake lever listed.

I did find a WAY cheap brake handle at Colemans that may give you something to work with.....just not the right one. https://colemans.com/shop/military-vehicles/emergency-brake-handle/

I sure hope mine don't break. Good luck!!

Mine all work. Just want new ones.

Rust has seized two of the adjusters.
In the correct position thank goodness.

If I had a spare, I could take one apart and see if it could be refurbished and reassembled.

I'm sorry my search did not help BUT I live by the beach with my M1102 and it has adjustable handles... Thinks I might open and clean and lubricate with anti-seize to prevent similar issues.

Good luck guys.

[If I had this unit and it was seized I would consider a soak in diluted acid followed by placing in oven at 400 degrees for 15 minutes followed by lubrication and attempt at twisting while hot. Alternatively heat with a blowtorch while still on the trailer and GENTLY use a pipe wrench to attempt to break it free.]

[EDIT - ZED posted this in post # 18. Sorry Zed]

There is an auction site that we are not allowed to post links to on this forum. Seems like there are 4 available. I have no affiliation with the vendor, and I'm just trying to help.

Search terms:

" NOS! Military M101 & M149A2 Trailer Emergency Brake Lever NSN 2530-00-330-3262 "

I just used a ton of WD-40 and wiggled it back and forth to free mine up.

Look up Dorman 924-5617.
Should be easy to convert, available at autozone or advance auto, and $35. They are used on chevy p30 vans.
