Recovery 4x4 is correct, M101 and M101A1 have the same bed, as well as M101A2. The difference between a M101 and a M101A1 is the parking brake levers. Axles are the same and good for at least 1.5 t payload, even the trailer is heavy and with 1.5 t payload at agross weight of about 2.2 tons. This should not be hauwled by a truck below the rating of a Deuce. The regular loud can be handeled by a M37 or a M715 with propperly working brakes. M101A3 I have never seen in Europe, at least to my knowledge. The M101A2 has the GMC bolt patern and usually 235/85R16LR E tires, however 9.00-16 will fit, if you still find new or useable used ones.
