Take an M1008 frame or an M1010 frame and A frame the front frame. That would be the easiest. You could put a tool box upfront and a jack. Done right it would look ok. You can get an axle if you want to shed a few lbs by eliminating the 14 bolt axle. Electric brakes.

Almost. But with a good axle and heavier springs it would be a great start. I think the project I have with mime will be easier. I am just making a flat bed. Someday. Maybe. Then again maybe NOT.
