Question, I have a friend that recently picked up an M101A1 trailer and wants to put electrical brakes on it. He wants to keep the military axel. I am scratching my head on this. Is this possible - switching backing plates and drums?

not to my knowledge but like you I am interested if it is possible?

T Here was another thread that said the hydraulic wheel cylinders and set up from a m37 could be used with the corresponding m101a2/a3 surge unit on the front instead of the straight pintle mount.
