M101A1 Trailer that had a PU-625/G gen set in it. Looking for help identifying some brackets that were on the front as well as a set that bolted inside the box at the rear by the tailgate.

See pics.

I think I have a similar trailer:

Does yours still have the fuel tank and filler?

The gen set is gone but the filler neck, under belly gas tank and protection shield and the fuel hoses and bulkhead fitting were all still present and in real decent shape. There was also a protection shield for the fuller neck . 20240912_133359.jpgGuy I got it from hauled it be to Wisconsin from Arizona 20240912_172649.jpg

I was surprised how complete it was too.... I haven't decided if I'm gonna put all of it back on or offer the gen set stuff up to someone trying to get a gen. trailer correct. I could use the $ to fund a few other things I'm working on.

The filler and cap are M35 but those are right in the tank on the Deuce.

The filler neck is something i've not seen before. The M715 is similar but it does not reduce in size like this does. \

I've looked through the TM twice and don't seem to see these. Judging by the amount and types paint I blasted off them, I'm thinking they were original to the trailer.

Anyone got an idea of what they were for? one on each front corner.

Those were also on mine.
Don't know what they are for. I did see on ebay a reasonable copy of the TM and plan on flipping through it to see all the set ups of the era.

Section 22-2 shows a pic with those front brackets.

As far as I can guess, they hold the rack inside the trailer as temporary storage. Not the m101 trailer sides but the special gen set accessory racks inside.
See 22-13 & 22-14 for my swag
