The snap straps that hold the cover to the bows.

sorry dont think I can help My m101a2 cover does not have snap straps that hold the cover the the bows. My cover just gets tied down to the Box.

I could be wrong but the TM calls for 10 such straps.

all my 101s dont have interior straps

Neither of the M101's that I have been around with covers have the straps either. The tarp just sits on the bows.

Yea! so I have learned. So much for the info in the TM. I put mine all together today and my tops sits on the bows and is tied dow with rope. Actually works pretty well.
