Would have been nice if all the paperwork was left in the trucks when military was done with them.
A few guys lucked out and received some paperwork.
Majority did not.

That paper he has is a GM line ticket. It may be in your truck somewhere. It could be between the springs of the seat on the bottom side. I found a few of them folded up and tucked in some place in the cab. They were just used during the assembly line time. Each piece that was put on the truck is coded or listed on the sheet. I have a build sheet from an M1009 that I kept. It was folded up and tucked into the bracket at the rear where the upper rifle rack meets the side rail. Spent 20 years in service undetected. I found it when I removed the gun racks for some work I was doing. A copy was on the dash of each one and had delivery information. GM still uses them and we just remove them and place them in the recycling bin.

I knew that and had found remnants of one when I installed a new seat cover in my first CUCV.
It's always nice to know the history, especially its birth certificate.
