It does not give dimensions. Best thing is to measure it from the face of the output shaft to the CL of the ujoint and take that to the driveline shop. They can calculate travel available on the slip and come up with a tube length.

Yes, NP208 and NP205 are very different. Be glad you have a NP205. If you are missing the original driveshaft, it wouldn't hurt to to change the output shaft out for a fixed yoke setup, much stronger and then you can drive truck without rear driveshaft in.

And if you have a M1031, talk to b4thundr about your generator setup. He'll take away all your headaches.
