M1031 rear driveshaft

I won a couple of M1031s from Warner Robbins. Of course, all of the driveshafts are bent from forklift bites. I am wondering if the rear driveshaft from a 1008 is close to the same. I know both the 205 and 208 were slip yoke cases and the length of the case is very close.

My plan is to trailer one truck back while slapping in my good 1008 driveshaft and driving anohter one home behind it (at breakneck speeds)

Anyone swapped rear shafts?

Thanks,
Travis

I just dug through quite a bit of searching and found that the 205 shaft is 3 inches longer than the 208 shaft. there goes my idea...

I was watching those...and the 813s w/w.
I was prepared to make someone pay for the 813s but got busy and didn't even bid!!auaaua

Any idea how much the 813s brought?

not interchangable.have the tube replaced.and rebalanced.a lot cheaper than a replacment shaft.a truck equiptment co can usually do this.
