Just picked up an m1031.

Yes I have searched but cant find the answer.

Truck has 2 cables that are both in the pass side frt compartment of box.

1st is a 4 pin round connector (2 red 2 black wires) runs up thru cab to dist block on fire wall (obviously power for something) .

2nd is a 18 pin round connector that runs up thru cab to top of the center of the dash.

Can someone please tell me what these are for ?

Thanks in advance.

Probably for a radio. Post pics of the cables and the compartment. Is there an antenna mount on the upper right or left corner of the box?

Looks like there WAS an antenna on the upper right corner of box.

Its the forward most box on pass side (where cutting bottles go).
They are only about 2 feet long, next to the generator.

Im working on getting pics posted.

If for the radio check TB 11-5820-890-20-98 Wayne

Thanks Wayne

I couldnt open the TB but did search m1031 radios.
Did find pics of the plugs I was asking about.

I would have never thought of mounting a radio right next to the generator.
I guess you could only use it when the generator wasnt being used ???
