Hi together,
i got my a2 4 months ago, my third humvee now . Less than 5.000miles and nice car. the steering was noisy and works hard mostly. I checked the lines and hydraulic winch with leak spray, and turned the wheels left to the right (engine off) like in the manual to get the air out.
no change.
i changed the steering pump with a new one and vented again.
Same issue.
if the rpm is higher, the noise is more.
if the humvee idles, the steering goes hard mostly.
if i unplug the Cadillac valve, same noise.
When i start the humvee in the morning, the noise comes after 30 - 60 Seconds.
What ca be the issue?

We have not many a2 Humvees in Germany 😎
and difficult to find experts here and parts.

Best regards alex

Hi guys,
i checked the System again.
no foam in the system.
Noise is still available. High rpm, high noise.
If the humvees stopped the steering Sometimes works hard and sometimes soft.

my father has a a2 and its noisy as well. Not so much like Mine.

The noise was much more when i Drive a step hill and a Vibration near the brake padel.

any ideas?
best regards
