I believe I may be low on power steering fluid ... thought the humming was at first the 200amp alternator but now believe it to be low levels of power steering fluid. I have confirmed my Cadillac Valve needs to be replaced as it doesn’t output the proper Oham readings (Fan clutch won’t engage) ... this said, I haven’t seen any videos on topping off PS fluid via my reservoir (Coffee Pot type) and a bit intimidated by pressurized systems.

what Grade fluid do I use?
where do I fill?
How can I flush?
If I have to replace Cadillac valve do I have to re-pressurize?

definitely only use dexron transmission fluid. You should have a remote reservoir top of engine towards driver's side firewall and front fender. sight glass on side.

Cadillac should be ok after you change, might need to bleed air out of system. turn stg whl side to side. Tm I think calls for wheels off the ground but I was ok on ground ymmv
