M105 Leaf Spring Pearches for Bobbing a Deuce

Here are the leaf spring perches I made for using m105 springs. They are 2 1/2" square tubing 1/4" wall 7" long with the 3 5/8" notch cut out a 1" deep to be welded to the rear axle. I'm going to cut another 7" long piece to weld on the top for a lift block. That will give me the 4" I need using the m105 springs bolted to the bottom of the frame rail of the deuce.

Hollow lift blocks are not the best method. (I would never use them)

I would at least put a filler block inside of that(or reconsider the design completely)
