Hello. I have searched the threads and can't find an answer so I hope I am not bringing up a overly repeated topic.........I own a M923A1 with super single 14.00x20 tires and she is sooooo tall! I bought a Johnson 1968 M105A2 to pull around. The stock tires are 9.00x20 on the trailer and I would like to put bigger/taller tires on the stock rims. What tires could I go to? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Some pics of 1100's in this thread and one pic with 14.5's mounted.

I think anything bigger then the 11.00 x 20's would not be good to offroad. I'm converting my truck, spare and trailer to the 11.00 x 20's. 12.00's, 395's, and 14.00's most likely will rub if you articulate the suspension. Even though they might fit for the looks, the performance will not do good.

I have an m818 on 16-20s and pull my two m105a2's with it, My m105 has the lument flipped up and with 11r20's on it it sits a hair high in the rear with no load on it. Be careful if you stick with the bud style rims, theres only a inch of room between the side wall and the wheel well. Now on my second m105 I have the same setup except I mounted the 11-20's on m135 rims which puts two inches between the side wall and the wheel well.

Look at his picture. On the 105's you can rotate the lunette. The circle thingy at the front of the trailer that is the hitch point. It can be rotated so it sits high or sits low.

I don't think articulation is going to be a big factor with the M105 trailer.

I seem to remember someone wedging 395s on an M105 but I can't find it. I don't think there would be any issues with running the 14.5R20 tires on A3 rims. If they don't rub with some weight on them, there will be little issue of rubbing off road.

This trailer has no problems running 14.5 tires off road and fits behind the trucks mounted with 395's. Some day when I have time unaccounted for I plan to mount up some 395's for a trial run.
