What is the tailgate on these trailers used for? Is it a liftgate? The trailers that I saw seem to have negitive tounge weight.

Those M105 are set up for wood working. The ones I have seen have a table saw mounted in side of the trailer normally. Yes it is a lift gate

IIRC it was a manually operated lift gate as well, and doesn't it have a seperate designation?

You may not find a M number on it or any manuals about it. Ddoyle said those belong to the Engineers. There are some pictures around for the one with the saw. This makes only the fifth one I've heard about. Wayne
