I recently pulled home a waterbufflow that we were using as a sign holder so I could clean it up and put a fresh coat of paint on it. After pressure washing it to prep I noticed it was originally blue 🤷🏽 and the frame rails were black ?

know info it was the navy’s last.

No data plate.
never seen one blue.

The paint on the tank is all green , any ideas other than originally from the Air Force.

Not that it really matters what color it gets painted but …….. stratus blue tank with black frame rails and rims could look really bad ass. Since sandi egos is a navy town and I already have the ability to copy the original markings and make it easy , since I haven’t been able to locate “any” pictures of a USAF waterbufflow to follow it makes it harder to do. So now I’m on a quest to find something I can follow to make it happen. Would it be white letters on a blue background ?? All the AF guys I know have never seen one. Any ideas ??

Old movies like “Strategic Air Command” are a good reference for old Air Force Military equipment and how they were painted back in the day. That particular movie shows a lot of vehicles and aviation ground support equipment.

I’ve never seen a dedicated AF water buffalo either. In person or in print or film
They always used ours. (Army)
