M1070 dash lights

Hi the gauge lights in the m1070 what voltage are they? the bulbs I took out only have 53 stamped in them. Also is it correct they do not come on when you switch the side or head lamps on? Mine only work when you rotate the dimmer switch

12V for the dash lights. They can be dimmed or turned off at the dimmer wheel, but if you have them on a setting other then "off" they should turn on and off with the headlight switch!

Mine come on when you turn the start switch to its first click, in other words they are on all the time till you shut the truck off or turn them off at the dimmer switch.

Hi good to know yours is wired like mine traced the feed for panel lights it comes from the black out light switch straight to dimmer I think it's like that so when using black out lights you don't lose the panel lights.maybe it was a wiring mod on some as soni says should go on and of through the head light switch?
