From the HET TM: "Be aware, neither the gas particulate filter unit nor field mask for NBC will protect you from CO poisoning".

I've got all the windows closed except the driver kick pannel and the sleeper pop out window. Got the ventaliator on full blast and it seems to be working good.

Thinking about how to clean the exhaust stack so I can put it back together

Find a muffler shop and have them cut it open and hollow it out. If that isn't an option, go by a carwash and remove the muffler and use dish soap and the wash wand there to clean it out. We used to use dish soap and a pressure washer to clean out particular filters when they started putting them on all the diesel pickups and then they all started plugging up. That was what the factory maintenance support told us to do at the dealership level.

Ok inspected the exhaust, it was way off. Got out the pry bar and beat it in and took the impact to the tightening clamps. Put some degreaser in the stack and letting it sit for a couple hours.

Crossing my fingers.

Well it worked. Holy crap batman the shower of oil that came out when the wife floored it.

Make it rain was the term you could use, make it rain oil and degreaser.

Down pipe it still attached, looks like it needed a little tender mechanic love.

No drano was used in this, just some good ole zep degreaser.

Brings new meaning to wet stacking...
I know, I was standing on the side of the exhaust to see if the down pipe was going to pop off again and just watching the stuff pour out, not knowing it was raining down on the drivers side where my wife was screaming at me, lol

The looks I was getting from the other drivers in the lot was priceless, basically wtf moments.
