M1088 or M931A2 for short wheelbase tanker truck

I am very new. To the forum Looking at the BMYs and the Stewart and Stevensons for forestry related water tanker work. I will have the tank custom built but I know jack about these trucks right now. I like the Cabover trucks for ease of turnaround but thats about it. Do these trucks have PTOs? Any sugested reading you guys could send my way would be appreciated. Is there anyone here that has put a tank on these trucks.

The 931 will not have a PTO, that would be a 932. On the FMTV, only winch equipped trucks will have a PTO. There is a member here in Socal that has a fleet of 900's in use commercially as water spreader trucks. In my opinion the rear bogie on a 900 series is twice as heavy duty as a MTV.
