M1089A1P2 5 Ton Wrecker

I have a 5Ton Wrecker that will not finish stowing. I have checked the hydraulic fluid tank, it's full. Checked to see if I have hydraulic fluid at the cylinder. All good. When I use the controls all of them work properly except for the stowing of the MAST. When I pull the lever outwards you can see the hydraulic hoses jerk with pressure and the engine bogs down a little bit. When applying the lever in no jerking of the hydraulic hose and no bogging down the engine. I was thinking maybe it's a bad solenoid . Any help will be appreicated. Towbarman

I have had a similar problem. Stand it all the way up, then spray your favorite penetrating oil on the "guide slide" out front of the crane, beside the hydraulic cylinders. Exercise it. Spray it again, then exercise it again. You will see rusty "goop" come out of the guide slide. Just leave the boom fully extended while you are exercising it...

Eventually you will get it limbered up...
