I would get your leak fixed and then install a new OEM thermostat and see how it does.

Repaired leak. Just need the right thermostat for the 6.5l non-turbo. Any idea what the OEM numbers are for a new one? I was told the old thermostat was for a 6.2, and that is why I was having troubles...here's the old one...

Yep, you need the rubber one not that all metal one.
