Help please. I've looked but haven't found answer here.
When lowering the trailer can I just grind the rivets remove the bolts and drop the axle?
Is there a torsion load to worry about?
Safety first I don't want to get hurt not knowing how. Thanks

The torsion is inside the axle itself, so as long as the weight is off of the axle (i.e. wheels removed and nothing pushing on the hubs) then there isn't anything to worry about.

Thanks Coug & Digger
I thought so but seemed too easy. Better safe than sorry.
I have civilian rims and LT245/75/16 but want to go the next level lower
will be more practical for my purposes :)
