M1101 and M1102 Capacity

I understand the whole story about the weight rating on these being limited by the tow vehicle and not the trailer itself. Therefore, I wonder, is the M1102 also limited by the HMMWV pulling it, or is the trailer now the limiting factor?

I thought someone mentioned that Silver Eagle made a civilian version of this trailer. I was hoping that they would have rated that based on the actual trailer capacity since they don't know what the tow vehicle would be. I searched but couldn't find anything. Anyone have any ideas?
