M1101 roof top rack build

I've been trolling this site for the last year while I worked out the details on my roof top tent build. The project is a work in progress but the first phase is done. I had some 1.5X3 rectangle steel welded together to make a base for my Kodiak Canvas 6086 two person tent. Instead of a solid platform with soft bedding I strung up a Gladiator cargo net to act as a cot type suspension under the tent. It worked pretty well and it is very comfortable to sleep on.

Looks great! I went with Expanded metal on my M101A2 It works well but adds weight.

Doubt he will mind if you only steal the idea and not his cargo net.

I am looking to do much the same with a roof top tent, but will need to build up the rack first. What bolts did you use to connect the rack to the trailer?
