Installed new pulley on my 400amp alternator and still making noise. Is there a greaseable bearing in this or bearing that can be replaced? I have been looking for a 200 amp alternator but no luck under $600.

Modern bearings come packed with polyurea grease which is not compatible with most parts store greases. Do not regrease ball bearings without thoroughly cleaning the bearing or using the correct polyurea thickened grease. Lucas Xtra Heavy Duty is a polyurea grease but is an EP grease so it should not be used in ball bearings. It's okay for the rear bearing in your alternator but not the front. Mobil Polyrex EM is readily available online and is a very good choice as a ball bearing grease.
